A Big Blue Four-Wheeled Surprise!
Last week at Bletchingdon, something incredibly exciting appeared in our car park—a huge blue tractor arrived- thanks to one of our generous families who kindly brought it along for the children to explore, climb inside, and learn about.

The children were buzzing with excitement and have been chatting about it ever since. The Foxes, Badgers and Cubs had the opportunity to choose whether they wanted to visit the tractor. Understandably, some children felt a little hesitant—new experiences can be a bit daunting—but everyone who came along was soon captivated.

We were all amazed by the sheer size of the tractor up close. The children had great fun measuring themselves against the tractor tyres. Even the smaller front tyres were taller than any of the children, which caused lots of surprised giggles. They stretched up on tiptoes and compared heights with each other—amazed at just how big everything was!

One of the highlights was sitting in the bucket at the front, which was a lot of fun. At the back, we explored the mechanical parts used to attach tools like the plough and flail mower.

The biggest adventure of all was climbing up into the cab to pretend we were driving. It was a bit nerve-wracking being so high up, but it was also incredibly exciting.

We had a fantastic time and are so grateful to Ed and Emily (and Barney and Maisie) for bringing the tractor and sharing this unforgettable experience with us. Thank you for helping make such a special memory for the children.
