Children entitled to government funding are welcome to apply for a Funding-Only Place.

These places are entirely free of charge. There are no registration fees, holding deposits, or charges for meals, snacks, and consumables. Places are available for 2, 3, or 4 days per week, stretched across 50 weeks of the year.

Attendance Patterns

Fully funded places are structured around our funded delivery model. Children will typically attend for one “long day” (on either a Monday or Friday) and one or more “short days” mid-week, depending on their total funding entitlement.

15 Hours Entitlement (11 hrs 24 mins stretched)

Attending 2 days per week:

  • 1 Long Day (Monday or Friday): 8 hrs 45 mins
  • 1 Short Day (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday): 2 hrs 39 mins

30 Hours Entitlement

Depending on how many hours you wish to claim, attendance is structured as follows:

  • Claiming 16 hours(12 hrs 10 mins stretched over 2 days):
    • 1 Long Day (Monday or Friday): 8 hrs 45 mins
    • 1 Short Day (mid-week): 3 hrs 25 mins
  • Claiming 24 hours(18 hrs 14 mins stretched over 3 days):
    • 1 Long Day (Monday or Friday): 8 hrs 44 mins
    • 2 Short Days (mid-week): 4 hrs 45 mins each
  • Claiming 30 hours(22 hrs 48 mins stretched over 4 days):
    • 1 Long Day (Monday or Friday): 8 hrs 45 mins
    • 3 Short Days (mid-week): 4 hrs 41 mins each

To help you visualise how this works in practice, here are two example schedules:

  • 15 Hours Example:
    • Wednesday: 14:36 – 17:15
    • Friday: 08:30 – 17:15
  • 30 Hours Example:
    • Monday: 08:30 – 17:15
    • Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: 12:34 – 17:15

Need-to-Know Information

  • Bank Holidays & INSET Days: If the nursery is closed on your child’s scheduled day, any planned funded hours will be rearranged for another mutually convenient time so you never miss out on your entitlement.

Applicable Fees and Charges

(Effective from 1st May 2026)

While standard sessions and consumables are entirely free, the following optional or situational charges apply:
