Jim Grady – Operations Manager

James Grady (Jim) joined Willow Cottage in 2013 to support the directors and management team with the ever increasing demands of the nursery sector.

Jim leads the finance and administration team and also manages many of the little projects that arise as part of the normal running of a company. He works hard behind the scenes to ensure the smooth operation of nurseries, supporting both the administration team and the setting managers to ensure the nursery runs to the highest standards. 

Jim can regularly be seen at all three of our settings, often busying himself with a small task or answering the children’s many questions such as, ‘Why are you here?’ and ‘What’s that for?’. 

In 2000 Jim graduated from Southampton University and has extensive experience in practical side of running small businesses and has a passion for child development and the early years.
