Celebrating 20 years of dedication and service
Today we have the privilege of celebrating with Julie Badnell, the 20 year anniversary of her joining Willow Cottage.
Julie began working at our Eynsham setting on the 4th March 2002, transferring over to Farmoor six years later. In that time progressing from practitioner to Deputy Manager, a role that she has fulfilled at Farmoor for the last 14 years.
Julie’s genuine love for the children has remained with her throughout. We asked some of the children what they would like to say about Julie for her anniversary and, as usual, they did not disappoint.
Here are what some of our current children think are Julie’s important roles:
“Julie always gives us big paper and does good sharing”
“Julie helps our Mummies and Daddies and rings them when we are poorly”
“Julie comes in the room and gives me my medicine to make me better”
“Julie teaches us yoga”

“Julie is very kind”
“I like Julie’s hugs”
Julie is well known for her organisational ability which is second to none. The staff rota is planned in great detail to ensure the children have the best possible care she can provide. She very much enjoys setting up for parties and events and if a job needs doing Julie will get it done. The team have come to expect a fantastic food spread at their staff meetings which has included an entire cheese board.
We are extremely glad to have someone like you working for Willow Cottage. We would like to wish you huge congratulations on this fantastic professional milestone. Here’s to all your incredible years of work. Happy Work Anniversary!
