Bonfire and Sparklers at Eynsham 2023

The children had a fantastic time celebrating Bonfire Night at nursery.  There was a lot of sparkly splatter painting throughout the day to create our firework art. 

In the afternoon, we had a special Bonfire Night tea with sausages, baked beans, corn on the cob, and a spiced apple crumble for pudding.  It felt very Autumnal.

Once the daylight began to fade, we all gathered in the big garden.  We sang a few songs, accompanied by Ben on his guitar. 

Finally, to end our evening the children were able to come up and held their very own sparklers!  They loved making patterns and shapes with them – some even made the first letter of their name. 

Everyone enjoyed watching the show and showed very good patience in waiting for their own turn. Another lovely afternoon was had by us all.
