Christmas Lunches
It is an annual event at Willow Cottage that for one lunchtime in December we alter the menu and cook a traditional Christmas turkey lunch with all the trimmings for our children, as well as our staff team.
During our social distancing Covid precautions this became a little more tricky but we still managed to achieve our bubble Christmas lunches even during that time and they are always a special celebration.
This year we were finally able to get back to our pre-Covid party atmosphere and our head office team were able to join in at the settings once again. The children made party hats and we wore our festive outfits or Christmas jumpers and we all had a really lovely time.
Special thanks go to our team of children’s chefs, Ciprian, Donna and Liz, who cooked for us on the day, as well as to Lorraine who helped out with preparation. It takes a huge amount of work, time and effort to achieve what you do in the 4 hours before lunchtime appears and we are all amazed by what you can do. Thank you so much.
