Family Firework Fun

On Friday 8th November our Farmoor setting welcomed the families of the children who were in that day to celebrate their Bonfire Night together. The children had been talking all day about the fireworks and they were very excited.

The bonfire was lit at the end of the field and though it took a little while to get going, once it was alight it burned very brightly.

The children were able to have glow sticks, which they loved and was also very helpful to be able to see them in the fading light.

Once all the parents had arrived it was time for the fireworks. There were lots of pretty colours and one child even asked Alison where all the noisy ones were!? Very brave indeed.

When they had finished the children and families were able to enjoy the rest of the fire as it burned and finished off their hot chocolate before heading home.

Thank you to everyone who came to support and help with Bonfire Night. Especially Ben for getting the fire ready for us. We have had a really lovely time together.
