Happy St. David’s Day

At Eynsham and Farmoor the children have been celebrating St. David’s Day with their peers in a variety of ways.

Using yellow and green tissue paper to make daffodils and daffodil pictures

We have been looking at and creating daffodils with green and yellow playdough

Having a try at still life daffodil painting

Making and eating Welsh Cakes for tea

At Farmoor Lions enjoyed some Welsh cakes today to celebrate St. David’s day. E’s grandma brought them for us from her local bakery in Wales. E explained that we celebrate on the 1st of March and we celebrate everyone who is Welsh. She also brought in her Welsh dragon hat to show all of her friends.

We hope everyone has had as much fun as we have celebrating St David’s Day.
