Run Shannon, Run!
Last Sunday, the 23rd April, Shannon, Deputy Manager at Farmoor, stood at the start line of the London Marathon to embark on her race, in aid of The Baby Charity Tommy’s.
The children have been very excited to hear Shannon’s story and have loved running around the garden doing their own mini marathons!! They did two laps and asked, “am I faster than you?”
Two children in lions claimed to have seen her on the TV, with one doing a demonstration of what they saw. They have been very careful with Shannon’s medal and have had the opportunity to wear it and have also had the opportunity to make some of their own.

Huge congratulations Shannon! To run 26.2 miles, let alone in 4 and a half hours, is something to be immensely proud of. Very well done indeed.
