Storytime on World Book Day
World Book Day is a favourite at all our Willow Cottage settings. We have nurseries filled with book lovers and never pass up an opportunity to celebrate all things literary.
At Farmoor, parents were invited to come in and read a story if they wished. One of our Mummies, Lara, very kindly came in to Cubs and read some books in Portuguese. None of the children moved a muscle during her visit- they were fascinated.
It’s so wonderful when we are able to welcome parents in, to share their languages, cultures and skills with the children. Partnership in action – Muito obrigado Lara.
