Thirty Days Wild

Throughout the month of June, Bletchingdon have been having great fun doing various challenges associated with “Let’s Go – 30 Days Wild” which is run by The Wildlife Trusts

The teams recieved a pack of cards with 30 different wild activities they could choose to do, one for each day. Some of these activities included…

Collecting natural objects. We went to the field collected natural objects then the Badgers made a big collage. We talked about all the types of leaves and flowers we used to create this.

Picking the peas we grew and tasting them, so yummy! Today we left pots of water out for the birds and made bird feeders with flower pots. We practiced our mark making with some spiral snails & shark chalking on the patio.

Doing yoga with Linh and Elaine and exploring butterflies . We were so gentle they even landed on our hands. Amazing!

The busy badgers today collected sticks stones and flowers to make a natural pond, we went on a bug hunt, then made a bug hotel for all the bugs , we also had lots of exercise kicking , throwing, and catching our new balls.

We bathed in the grass and bathed our feet in water, we also hugged some of the trees.

We have been very excited to explore the wild in so many different ways. We look forward to 30 Days Wild again next year!
