World Book Day 2023
At Willow Cottage we have no need to find an excuse to read, explore, investigate, imagine, look at, discuss or celebrate, books of all shapes, sizes and colours. We love books all the year round.
However, we won’t miss a chance to take our interests further on World Book Day. We have had some amazing costumes, some old favourites and some new ones to us.
The evil peas from Supertato came to visit us at Eynsham again this year and were appropriately squashed.
The Gruffalo was seen in many different places, The Tiger certainly Came to Tea, and The Cat in The Hat was spotted bounding around in the field, at Bletchingdon.
At Farmoor we even turned our hand to books in different languages, some parents kindly came to nursery and read books to us in Czech and Marathi and then kindly let us explore the books ourselves.
Thank you to everyone who has joined in this year. We always have such a wonderful time.
