World Book Day pt. 2
At our Farmoor setting we also had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day.
Each team was given the challenge to create a story sack and there were such lovely creations made.
We had lots of colour themed activities, muti-colored rice pink shaving foam with pink objects. Dabber pens with playdough. The children dressed up as a character from their favourite book. The staff all wore a colour representing a colour monster. We had a book swap as well as children bringing in a book to share with their friends.
There was an invitation created for children to write and illustrate their own stories if they wished. The effort that was put into them and the perseverance was quite wonderful to see.
