Written and Illustrated
At Eynsham a growing love of books and developing stories has been a big interest for many children. Inspired by this, Beth set up a book writing station. Beth offered her skills to scribe the stories being told by the children as they have imagined, told, acted, dictated, drawn, and created stories of their own invention.
The children illustrated their covers, and the story books were then taken home to be shared. Other members of the team noted the high level of engagement and were able to observe the wonderful language and interactions as the children’s stories unfolded.
It was a fantastic experience for all involved and the imagination and acting skills of the children never ceases to amaze us. Please enjoy the stories below.
