Financial Assistant/Office Administrator
We are looking for someone who is familiar with working financial records, or administering database information, in a professional office environment. Experience working in a Nursery School office and with Quickbooks is desirable. Training will be provided.
The Farmoor Court Head Office is the hub of the administration and finance functions for our three nurseries located at Eynsham, Farmoor and Bletchingdon.
The ideal candidate will liaise effectively with our parents and colleagues, be able to ensure that our parents receive an efficient and friendly service, and be both diligent and responsible whilst working with financial information.

Salary | £9.62 to £12.00 per hour (£20,000 to £25,000 full time equivalent) |
Hours | 18.5 to 20 hours per week with core hours of 0900 to 1600 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with some flexibility (This is not a term time position.) |

Responsibilities will include
- Setting-up an account for each new family joining Willow Cottage and recording their registration fee and holding deposit on our tracking system; producing invoices and inputting into QuickBooks.
- Ensuring that each new family registers for the Government Tax Free Childcare Scheme (where appropriate) and joins our direct debit payment scheme.
- Liaise with Managers and First Steps software for any changes to a child’s attendance for billing purposes.
- On QuickBooks produce the parents monthly invoices for fees and extras (approx. 220)
- Produce monthly billing reports for the three nurseries and once checked by the manager, send out the invoices by email via the QuickBooks system.

Qualifications and skills
- Minimum 5 GCSEs at Grade A to C.
- Desirable – A book-keeping or accounting qualification
- PC Literate – Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Data
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Accurate, numerate with good attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
